Recipe of the Month BEEF RANDANG CURRY
Ingredients:
- Just Cook It! Beef Randang Curry pouch
- 250g 90 Second Rice pouch (Available at Just Cook It!)
- Pappadums (Available at Just Cook It!)
Optional:
- Natural Yogurt
- Banana
- Sultanas
Method:
Place the Beef Randang Curry pouch in a large pot of cold water on the stove. Bring the water to boil then reduce heat to simmer. Boil the Beef Randang curry for minimum 7 minutes.
While the water is boiling place 90 second rice in microwave on high and microwave or fry pappadums (follow indidivual instructions on box).
Once the Beef Randang curry has been cooked for 7 minutes, remove the pouch from the water with tongs, cut the top and pour the contents into a bowl, taking care as curry will be hot.
Serve your curry with 90 second rice and crunchy pappadums. For an extra treat also serve with sliced banana, sultanas and natural yogurt.
JCI Tip: If you find the Beef Randang Curry too spicy try Just Cook It!'s Butter Chicken or Lamb Korma as an exotic alternative without so much heat!
